Symptoms

Use use SSL for all connections to the Sites UI. To achieve this we rewrite URLs using Oracle HTTPD Server, and SSL terminates at OHS. However we have observed that this page in the Sites UI

  https://editorial.customer.com/cs/ContentServer?pagename=fatwire/ui/util/GetSLSObj&user_locale=en-us

writes this in its response

  document.write('<script type="text/javascript" src="http://editorial.customer.com:80/cs/js/fw/sls/en-us.js"></script>');

which is a link to a JavaScript file using "http://", so consequently browsers will naturally warn about mixed content (https and http in the same page).
