Search Fails for External Users In WCC After Upgrade to 11.1.1.8.0 (Doc ID 1676468.1)

Symptoms

Using WebCenter Content 11.1.1.8.0 with Oracle Text Search

After upgrading 2 independent WCC instances from 11.1.1.4 to WCC 11.1.1.8 MLR4, search performed by external users are failing.

If an admin user (weblogic for example) performs a search (quick, targeted, standard) the search works fine.
For the External Users (OID integrated with Weblogic), the search always fails. with the errors below.
