OSB Fails to take Endpoint Offline after Read Timeout (Doc ID 1677792.1)

Symptoms

A read timeout in the Business Service is expected to have an exception and to mark the endpoint as offline, however, although the exception is logged in the log files, the endpoint remains available.

The OSB server log may contain the following:

 

 

The endpoint will be not marked as offline as seen in Monitoring ->Dashboard -> Endpoint URIs:
