at weblogic.rmi.internal.BasicRemoteRef.invoke(

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps from EM (Fusion Middleware Control):

  1. From Reports menu select Administration > Reports OID Association.
  2. The Reports OID Association Details Page is displayed.
  3. Click the Associate tab.
  4. Specify the Oracle Internet Directory Host, Oracle Internet Directory Port, Username and Password.
  5. Click OK.

For Example:

Tried entering the following credentials:

OID Host:   oidhostname
OID Port:    3060
Username:  orcladmin
Password:   ****************

OID Host:
OID Port:    3060
Username:  orcladmin
Password:   ****************

Both hostname and FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) give same error.

However, the username orcladmin works using:

 New Reports/OID reassociation.
