Symptoms

Site Studio Designer - Site Assets pane, check-in of a template (Page Template, Subtemplate, etc.) using Copy > From Local, throws the following error:
Failed to check in file "title" from location "". (Content item 'title' was not successfully checked in. The content item must have a primary file.)
