Cannot Edit Parent Asset And Child Assets After Changing Parent Asset Access Permissions (Doc ID 1680274.1)

Symptoms

In the Contributor UI, changed access permissions on a content parent asset to deny the Edit function for a role . After this change, users can no longer edit this asset, nor any ofl the child content assets.  The access permissions screen is no longer accessible to undo the permission changes as you can no longer open the content parent asset Edit screen.
