PeopleSoft UM Connector Fails To Connect To PeopleSoft When Using DomainPassword Feature (Doc ID 1681332.1)

Goal

After deployment of PSFT UM 11.1.1.6.0 connector and ConnectorServer the provisioning process is not successful.  PeopleSoft Tools version 8.53 rejects the connection coming from the OIM side.
In OIM 11.1.2.1.0 diagnostic log one can see the following error:
