How Can We Use A Different Xalan (Third Party) Libraries Release Than The One Embedded In Tuxedo Installation? (Doc ID 1682265.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 04, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Tuxedo - Version 12.1.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

As part of Tuxedo 12cR1 installation some Xalan libraries are embedded in $TUXDIR/lib directory:

[unixAccountName:/home/unixAccountName/tux-12ga-64/tuxedo12.1.1.0/lib]$ ll -tr *xalan*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 unixAccountName unixGroupName      20 Nov 11  2013 libxalanMsg.so -> libxalanMsg.so.110.0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 unixAccountName unixGroupName      19 Nov 11  2013 libxalan-c.so.110 -> libxalan-c.so.110.0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 unixAccountName unixGroupName      20 Nov 11  2013 libxalanMsg.so.110 -> libxalanMsg.so.110.0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 unixAccountName unixGroupName      19 Nov 11  2013 libxalan-c.so -> libxalan-c.so.110.0
-r-xr-x--- 1 unixAccountName unixGroupName   45163 Nov 11  2013 libxalanMsg.so.110.0
-r-xr-x--- 1 unixAccountName unixGroupName 5477579 Nov 11  2013 libxalan-c.so.110.0
[unixAccountName:/home/unixAccountName/tux-12ga-64/tuxedo12.1.1.0/lib]$

How can we specify a different version of Xalan 3rd party libraries into a Tuxedo Application (build time and run time)?
