Webcenter Content offers the flexibility to display labels for Metadata as per the business requirement.  But, the limitation with this is inability to set the value to be evaluated dynamically based on some conditions.  This static value part is achieved by checking "Use Custom Label" parameter for the metadata under Rules. 

This article provides steps on how to overcome this limitation where in the display label would be evaluated dynamically and the Label will show the value accordingly.
