IPM Integration with WCC: Changing an IPM Rule Doesn't Effect Checkins from IPM (Doc ID 1683458.1)

Symptoms

When using the Oracle Imaging and Process Management (IPM) integration with WebCenter Content (WCC) , profiles are automatically created in WCC for every application created in IPM.  For each of these profiles, three rules are created and added to the profiles.

You wish to make a change to one of the rules (for example, adding a default metadata value).  You edit one of these IPM rules to make the change, but you don't see this reflected on content uploaded to WCC through IPM.
