Symptoms
When an end user enters a special character such as a hash ('#'), into the input field and clicks submit the following error occurs:
What Works:
- If ApEx is accessed via OAS (Oracle Application Server 10g 10.1.2.0.2)., and the # character is entered and submitted as part of a string, then this issue does not occur.
- If the '#' is omitted as part of an input string and submitted using ApEx listener then this issue does not occur.
