The Document Preview is not Working for Some Type of Documents in WebCenter Portal (Doc ID 1901453.1)

Symptoms

The Document Preview is not working for some types of documents in WebCenter Portal.  The document properties are displayed but the file preview is not shown.

Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Do a search from the WebCenter Portal Global Search tool bar.
     
  2. In the search results click the link for a document (e.g. a .doc file).
    This opens the document Mini Properties Task Flow instead of the document Preview.
    To see what you should see when selecting a file after a search see Figure 6-4 Search Preview.
      
  3. Go to the Documents Page or the Document Explorer Task Flow and navigate to the file.
    You will see the document properties are displayed but the file preview is not shown.
