How To Open a MS Word Document in Read-only Mode Using OLE2 Package (Doc ID 190252.1)

Purpose

 

This program helps in opening the MS Word document in Read only mode.
It will open an existing document and will not let the user update the document.
Further it will password protect the word document against update.

This program will do steps similar as  - opening the MS Word document,
Tools menu --> Protect Document --> click on Forms (password will be hardcoded).


For webforms use similar code included in Webutil client_ole.
