Full Text Search Using Equals Sign Fails With Error in 11g Query Builder (Doc ID 1902849.1)

Goal

With UCM 10g, you can use the Full Text search box and enter something like dDocName='123456'. With 11g, this produces no results. You can use Query Builder, and the modify query option, but dDocName='123456' produces an error "unable to retrieve search results". You can however use the "matches" syntax for correct results. Is there no way to use the "=" syntax?
