Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 11.1.2 version, OAG Policy Studio

The API gateway (console) account does not lock out when someone is guessing the password. Normally it is seen with other systems that when login fails after a certain number of attempts, it locks that user.

It is expected that Oracle API Gateway Manager would lock the user account after a certain number of attempts trying to guess the password for the admin user.
