'ORA-12899: value too large for column' Error Is Signalled when Running ODI Integration Interface / Mapping when Transferring Data Including Mutli-bytes Characters (Doc ID 1909394.1)

The following message is signalled when running an ODI Integration Interface / Mapping loading multi-byte data from one database to another when both source and target columns have the same length:

ODI-1228: Task SrcSet0 (Loading) fails on the target ORACLE connection Target.
Caused By: java.sql.BatchUpdateException: ORA-12899: value too large for column "<SCHEMA>"."C$_<TABLE>"."C6_<COLUMN>" (actual: 39, maximum: 36)
