java.lang.NullPointerException Error when Attaching a File in EDQ Case Management (Doc ID 1912550.1)

Symptoms

In Case Management (CM), while adding an attachment to an Alert, selecting file Details and then trying to sort by clicking on a column header eg  'Name', 'Size', 'Item Type', 'Date Modified' causes the following exception and the application closes:
