11.1.1.8 ADF UI: Filter By Category Shows Internal Value Of View Instead of Display Value (Doc ID 1917994.1)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Filter by Category is not working as expected in the ADF WebUI.  The filter is showing the internal column and not display column.  In the native UI, the filter shows the Visible Column values as expected.  In the WCC ADF UI, it displays the Primary Key Column values which is not usable to users.
 

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create custom table
2. Create View to table
3. Values added to view
4. Create Metadata field

5. Configure metadata field as filter in Advanced Search Options via Configuration Manager
6. Check content items in populating the newly created field with the values
7. Do a quick search from 11g Native UI, note the filter shows the display column’s values
8. Do a search in the new WCC ADF UI. Note the filter shows the internal values
