Wrong Asset Displayed Due to Asset Cache Corruption
(Doc ID 1919110.1)
Last updated on MAY 13, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle WebCenter Sites - Version 11.1.1.6.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
- Assets have the wrong reference: in the Admin UI, when inspecting some specific assets, (e.g. a Page Attribute definition), a completely different, unrelated asset is shown (e.g. a Flex Parent Definition) instead of the intended asset.
- In the Contributor UI, when clicking on the asset linked via a multi-value attribute of type asset, an error is shown:
"An exception occurred on the server while executing UI/Data/Asset/AssetMetadata: Unknown subtype {some subtype}. If the problem persists please contact the system administrator."
However, several other assets linked in the same attribute work fine.
- Logs show SQL errors, such as:
[2014-08-18 00:51:44,133] [ERROR] [.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [fatwire.logging.cs.db] SQLException in prepared execute on table AttrTypes: SELECT * FROM AttrTypes WHERE id = ?
id = Variables.ContentDetails:attributetype
java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-01722: invalid number
