A Full Collection Rebuild Stops With Error "Too Many Open Files" (Doc ID 1923002.1)

Symptoms

A full rebuild when using OTS will leave files behind in the ucm/cs/search/ots#/bulkload/~export directory. Once the files are there, they don't seem to be removed and you can't manually delete them because the JDK has them locked.

The following Error is received:

Steps to Reproduce:
-----------------------
1. log into content server -> administration -> admin applets -> repository manager.
2. Click on index tab.
3. On the bottom box, click 'start' to begin the full collection rebuild.
