B2B 11g - Syncreceiver Timeout Property and Thread Usage (Doc ID 1923210.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 16, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle SOA Suite - Version 11.1.1.6.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Based on a requirement of synchronous request-response from B2B 11g, we are using "syncreceiver" servlet.

Current design involves the usage of a synchronous B2B adapter in a BPEL process, which fetches the payload from the B2B TPA, performs the operation and sends back the response with the different TPA using the "syncreceiver" servlet to the vendor.

It has been observed that the default timeout property set for the response is 30 seconds.

1 - Where can this request timeout property be edited from?

2 - Will the same thread which invokes the instance in the weblogic console will be active (when we use "syncreceiver" servlet) until the response has been sent back from B2B to the vendor?
