This article provides a high level guidelines and best practices for customization UI in Oracle Identity Manager(OIM) and is primarily targeted for users or developers who are involved in the customization of out-of-box UI for Oracle Identity Governance(OIG) based on their business needs.
The article also provides a good perspective of IT Managers to help them plan their customizations releases using sandboxes using the standard software development life cycle process.
Oracle Identity Manager(OIM) is an identity management product that identity administration functionalities such as password management, workflow and policy management, identity reconciliation, reporting and auditing, and extensibility through adapters. OIM is part of Oracle Identity Management suite.
This article assumes that the reader is familiar with the Oracle Identity Governance(OIG) as well as with the customization feature present in all OIM releases post Release 18.104.22.168.0.
