Symptoms

While installing Goldengate having problems.

Deleted the whole GG directory

Re-install fails :
lcdre0depdb [SBOMIRU]-> ./runInstaller -silent -responseFile /<DIR>/ogg.rsp
Starting Oracle Universal Installer...

Checking Temp space: must be greater than 120 MB. Actual 5610 MB Passed
Checking swap space: must be greater than 150 MB. Actual 14517 MB Passed

/<DIR>/fbo_ggs_Linux_x64_shiphome/Disk1
lcdre0depdb [SBOMIRU]-> [FATAL] [INS-75012] Software Location is an existing Oracle Home.
  CAUSE: Software Location is already found registered in inventory.
  ACTION: Specify a new directory for Software Location.

This applies only to OGG Version 12.
