Enterprise Capture Failed To Import Subsequent Mails When It Failed To Omit .eml Attachment Mail (Doc ID 1925427.1)

Symptoms

Certain emails return a null pointer exception when Import Processor polls the folder containing an email that contains .eml attachments.  The job does not have to be configured to import .eml attachments, but the NPE error still is returned. Additionally, this prevents Import Processor from importing other emails in that folder until this problem email is removed. The stack trace in the capture managed server log is:

<Error> <oracle.odc.importprocessor.ImportJobSchedulerSessionBean> <BEA-000000> <null
   java.lang.NullPointerException
