Enterprise Capture Commit Does Not Commit The First Document From An Import Job When Separator Sheets Are Used (Doc ID 1927497.1)

Last updated on MAY 06, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Enterprise Capture - Version 11.1.1.8.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

An import job is configured. Documents are sent through the Recognition Processor for separator sheet recognition. The first document in the batch is not committed, but instead the batch is released and can be viewed in the client. This means that if the file is a single document (no separator sheets), the batch is not committed at all. A file that contains 3 documents separated by a separator sheet will only commit the 2nd and 3rd; the first will remain in the client.

No errors are thrown, but the following message appears in the logs:

[capture_server1] [NOTIFICATION] [] [oracle.odc.batchprocessor.BatchProcessorBean] [tid: <TID>] [userId: <UID>] [ecid: <ECID>] [APP: capture] [WFR-F-4 (301)] No batch processor specified, batch will be unlocked and placed in a ready state.
