Goal

Here is a step by step example of how to configure EBS 12.1.3/12.2.x OAF with WCC AXF Managed Attachments.

Note:  For the exact details on how to install and configure WebCenter Content, Imaging (IPM) and Managed Attachments, please refer to the latest documentation found HERE

Note:  Concerning EBS 12.2.x Content Server certification:   WebCenter Content and IPM versions 11.1.1.9.0 and above are certified to work with EBS 12.2.x

(Important Note: Managed Attachments is NOT available or supported with WebCenter Content 12.2.1.0.0. Solution
 Step 1) Install and configure your EBS 12.1.3/12.2.x EBS OAF environment
 Step 2) Install WCC Server and Imaging (IPM) 11g, configure and test AXF Managed Attachments.
 Step 3) On the EBS 12.1.3/12.2.x machine, create the AXF user and grant the correct privileges to the user.
 Step 4) Copy the required WCC Managed Attachment SQL scripts to the EBS 12.1.3/12.2.x machine.
 Step 5) Run the following set of WCC OAF AXF SQL scripts against the EBS Database into the new AXF schema.
 Step 6) Run the following WCC AXF SQL script against the EBS Database as the APPS user.
 Step 7) Store the SOAP password in the database vault by executing the following command as APPS schema user.
 Step 8) Building the java class file required to execute the OAF Managed Attachments button.
 Step 9) Compile the class files in JDeveloper
 Step 10) Copy these class files to the following directory.
 Step 11) Import the XML files
 Step 12) Verify the import was successful
 Step 13) Load the oaf_axf_messages.ldt message bundle
 Step 14) Adding the Managed Attachments Button to a Page
 Step 15) ONLY IF you are running on EBS 12.2.x - Users need to run "Generate product JAR files" using the adadmin tool, and fixup the ACLs to include the IPM port
 Step 16) IMPORTANT: IF you are running on EBS 12.2.6 and above, you need to do this to get OAF to work with Managed Attachments
 Step 17) Test the OAF page with Managed Attachments
