Unable to Access an XML (Data Set) Stored in WebCenter Content Using An HTTP Data Source In BI Publisher 11.1.1.7 (Doc ID 1929318.1)

Symptoms

After configuring an HTTP Data Source in BI Publisher to access an XML data set (content item) stored in WebCenter Content using the GET_FILE service or weblayout URL, you find that the file is inaccessible and the request fails with the following exception in BIP:

The WebCenter Content requestaudit tracing shows that the content item is accessed anonymously even though you have specified a valid username/password/realm in the BI Publisher data source:

GET_FILE [dDocName=WCC0001][dUser=anonymous][RevisionSelectionMethod=Latest][StatusCode=-20][StatusMessage=Unable to download 'WCC0001'. System needs login authentication credentials.] 0.04610300064086914(secs)
