OAMMS App.acct.link.attr Does Not Work Other Than Mail Attribute In Case Of OUD (Doc ID 1934363.1)

Last updated on APRIL 05, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Mobile and Social - Version 11.1.2.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

OAM Mobile and Social Linking attribute “app.acct.link.attr” does not work other than mail attribute in case of OUD.

1. If I user mail attribute as linking attribute linking works fine. The attribute will have : appended to the attribute value every time I link new Social account.
2. If I user any other multivalved attribute (an OUD attribute of type “Directory String”) every time when I link an new Social account the previously linked account value is replaced with new a value.
Ex: Create local account in OUD, Create custom attribute of type “Directory String”, link with First FB account, OUD attribute value is “custattr: Facebook:fbfirst@g<DOMAIN>. Now if I link same local ID with Second FB account then OUD attribute value is “custattr: Facebook:fbsecond@g<DOMAIN> (as you can see old linked account Facebook:fbfirst@g<DOMAIN> is removed). In case of mail attribute that does not happen it keep appends the linked accounts to attribute value.
3. I even tried creating custom attribute which has the same attribute type as mail (IA5 String) but OAM replaced the old linked mail.
4 I tried using postalAddress (OOTB Inetorgperson Attribute Type: Postal Address) and I see the same problem, previously linked mail ID value is replaced with new one.
