Is it Possible to Scan to PDF in the WebCenter Content UI Instead of the Default TIFF Format? (Doc ID 1934508.1)

Goal

The new Content UI allows users to scan and upload a document directly into a Framework folder. However, it seems it scans and uploads the file in TIFF format only. Is it possible for it to scan the file as PDF format?
