ODI Session Terminates Successfully with Warning Status when Erroneous Records Are Written to the E$ Table (Doc ID 1934987.1)

Goal

It has been observed that starting with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11g, if an Integration Interface (or 12c Mapping) inserts erroneous records into the E$ table during the flow control or static control data quality checks, the Session does not abort but runs to completion with a Warning  status and message:

Is this normal and expected behavior in such a case ?
