Last updated on JUNE 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Traffic Director - Version 11.1.1.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

This may cause issues if you have a cron script (e.g tmpwatch) that automates temporary file cleanup on the /tmp directory. Issues you may encounter as a result of the cleanup include failure to stop OTD by running stopserv command, admin console displaying incorrect status of the OTD instance, etc.  So how to configure the OTD to use a temp location other than the /tmp directory?
