The PLSQL module of OHS is used to send requests from a Client to an Application that is installed on a Database.
The UTL_HTTP package on the Database is used to turn the Database into a simple HTTP Client, and enabled the Database to make HTTP requests to a Web Server. It can be configured to do this via HTTP or HTTPS.
The code to do this would look something like:
No changes are reported on either the OHS or the Database prior to the change in response.
