Symptoms


After an Oracle JDBC driver migration to 11.2.0.4 or 12.1.0.2, an unusual number of the following query is observed (over 300):

As a result, this error was triggered on the database side.

ORA-01000: Maximum open cursors exceeded

The application executes a procedure with user defined data types.


It is expected that no additional SQL queries should be generated by the driver, following a JDBC driver update.

Changes

 Upgrade to JDBC driver 11.2.0.4 or 12.1.0.2.
