Sites with OAM Freezes Sometimes when Importing from Eclipse with CSDT

On : 11.1.1.8.0 version, WebCenter Sites, development environment
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
While developing templates/pagelet using Eclipse CSDT plugin, WebCenter Sites freezes sometimes. Page requests remain waiting for a response for a few minutes.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------------
Requests should not freeze.
STEPS
-----------------------------
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. In Eclipse change something in a Template.
2. Open the website to verify changes.
3. In Eclipse change something else in a Template.
The second change takes a few minutes to complete and during this time page requests to the website also take a few minutes to respond.
ADDITIONAL OBSERVATION
-----------------------------
Requests directly to WebCenter Sites and Remote Satellite Server -- bypassing the web server -- are still responding, while requests through OHS get delayed.
Changes
WebCenter Sites is integrated with OAM in a way that all pages, including the website, require authentication.
