Missing Database Functions in ODI Expression Editor (Doc ID 1941681.1)

The article applies to all releases of ODI like the current 12C as well as to previous releases.


When opening the Expression Editor/Edit Expression window from an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Integration Interface/Mapping, Procedure, Knowledge Module... there are no functions visible in the bottom-left panel of the window:

... while it is expected to be able to see all the technology-related functions:

In the screen copies above, the CASE function should have been visible for SQL language, and the Oracle Technology.
