Call To Bounded Task Flow Configured To Not Share Data Controls Shows Wrong Information If Called Consecutively (Doc ID 1942374.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 19, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle JDeveloper - Version 12.1.2.0.0 to 12.1.3.0.0 [Release 12c]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Jdeveloper/ADF 12.1.2 we can see that the createInsert activity does not create a new record in the second call to the Bound TaskFlow (BTF). This happens when the Bounded task Flow has properties "do not share DataControls" and "Always begin new transaction". Thus, the information showed in the second call to the Bound task Flow is the information of the first record of the iterator instead of the information of a new record.

This behaviour does not occur when the Bounded TaskFlow has the usage "SHARE DATACONTROLS".
