Goal

We are developing a custom front-end to Sites, which is connecting to a custom REST service in Sites.
This system operates well in a single-request-at-a-time scenario, but when concurrent requests are made then random errors occur.
Is there any configuration that must be made (or an inherent limitation) for concurrent requests into Sites REST services?
