Goal

There may be situations where modelers are required to work with tables in different database that have different NLS_LENGTH_SEMANTICS (Char vs. Byte). This note suggests a possible way to convert the length semantics of an imported Relational Model to conform to the length semantics used by the target database.

It should be noted that this only one possible approach, and that the design and code of Custom Transformation Scripts are the responsibility of customers and not Oracle Support.
