Symptoms
While attempting to upgrade from JDeveloper 12.1.2 to JDeveloper 12.1.3, JDBC OCI drivers for the database connection fails with the following error:
no ocijdbc12 in java.library.path
Same configuration works in JDeveloper 12.1.2 : Instant Client is version 11.2 and Instant Client directory is the first entry in the Windows PATH environment variable.
Attempting to use instant client 12 instead, reports:
Error: Incompatible version of libocijdbc[Jdbc:121020, Jdbc-OCI:121010
