ODI Scenario Smart Import Hangs on "Checking child objects matching for scenario..." Phase (Doc ID 1950215.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to perform a Smart Import on an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) version 11g or 12c environment, it always hangs on parsing of one specific Scenario.

No error messages are observed, but the operation just hangs on: Checking child objects matching for scenario...

Same exported file was successfully imported to another environment without any issues with this Scenario.

This specific Scenario can be run without any errors.

It is also observed that when attempting to delete it from ODI Designer, the operations hangs on the Deleting. Please wait phase.
