After upgrading the Oracle database to 220.127.116.11, APEX applications are experiencing performance problems. This issue affects all APEX applications and pages, including the login process. No changes have been made to the applications prior to the upgrade.
This problem can occur with any web server:
- Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) / APEX Listener with Weblogic, Glassfish, Tomcat or standalone.
- Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) with mod_plsql
- The XML HTTP Server with the Embedded PL/SQL Gateway (EPG)
Upgraded the database from 11.2.0.x to 18.104.22.168.
