Not Able To Set The Max Thread Constraint Count Value To -1 (Doc ID 1952463.1)

Symptoms

Trying to set the Max Thread Constraint Count value to -1 (the default) from the WLS Admin Console fails with the error "Enter either a count or connection pool name" thrown on the Admin console. No errors are seen in the logs.

TESTCASE:
========

  1. Create WLS 12.1.2 or 12.1.3 domain with admin and managed servers.
  2. Log into Admin Console.
  3. Create Max Thread constraint (under Environment -> Work Manager). By default the count Value is set to -1.
  4. When you hit save button, it throws error on console page:
