OID Group RDN Is Uppercase But When Synchronized Is Lowercase in Destination
(Doc ID 1952707.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 30, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Internet Directory - Version 10.1.4.3 to 11.1.1.7.0 [Release 10gR3 to 11g]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
OID is configured using synchronization using DIP. In the source OID group name is: cn=TEST,dc=testgroup,dc=<COMPANY>,dc=com
When the group is synchronized to the destination, its created with the rdn in lowercase: cn=test,dc=testgroup,dc=<COMPANY>,dc=com
This could be a problem if the client application that uses destination OID needs the rdn in Uppercase.
