Settings that affect timeouts in the Access SDK Client: OAM 11G ASDK AGENT CONNECTIONS TIMEOUT PARAMETERS ?

We are experiencing issues using the SDK. There are issues such as:
* Bad response times from OAM
* ASDK not timing out - old requests still getting treated, even though the client is long gone.
Are there specific parameters as related to the timeout behaviour of Access SDK ?
Is there any specific parameter in the ASDK which says how long a connection between SDK and OAM can be used ?
So, What are the settings that affect timeouts in the OAM 22.214.171.124 ASDK ?
