Error While Trying To Propagate Changes Using Webcenter Portal Administration Tool (Doc ID 1956741.1)

Symptoms

Trying to propagate changes between servers using the webcenter portal administration tool, when press the propagation options the application throws an error 503 on the browser page:

"A connection to the server has failed (status=503)"

WC_CustomPortal1.out log shows:

Caused By: javax.naming.CommunicationException [Root exception is java.net.ConnectException: t3://HOST IP:PORT: Destination unreachable; nested exception is:
java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out; No available router to destination]

Caused By: java.rmi.ConnectException: Destination unreachable; nested exception is:
java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out; No available router to destination
......
Caused By: java.net.SocketException: Broken pipe
at java.net.SocketOutputStream.socketWrite0(Native Method)
at java.net.SocketOutputStream.socketWrite(SocketOutputStream.java:113)
