Last updated on MAY 01, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle API Gateway - Version 11.1.2.1.0 to 11.1.2.2.0 [Release 11gR1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

There is an Oracle API Gateway component residing in the DMZ zone of the enterprise. There is the need to invoke google maps api service from Oracle API Gateway 11.1.2.1 and get a response back.
This request from Oracle API Gateway should traverse through Forward proxy, for which the Forward proxy details have been provided to where the Oracle API Gateway should send requests to.
Using the Forward Traffic option is not working on OAG, showing the next message while trying to use it:

The request is not going through proxy.
