ADFUI - Name Field Requires Validation (Doc ID 1958459.1)

Name field requires validation .

Case1 : UPLOAD
Go to ADF UI
Click on Upload -- new standard checkin
While checkin , browse to the folder location
Open the file
edit the metadata field called 'Name' with any special character '/'
Checkin the file .

Its checked in and there is no validation check this point .

Case2 : RENAME
on ADF UI ,
Select any document check box
Click in More options , select Rename
Rename the file with '/' character in it .

No validation again , the file is renamed with the special character .
But when you download this file , there is validation from the MS office part and this is not allowed to download .
