The Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g (18.104.22.168 or higher) oidstats.sql process is running many times during the day, kicking off the query that gathers statistics for the ODS.DS_ATTRSTORE table.
The oidmon.log file reports:
Can the oidstats.sql process be configured to not run so often, especially during heavy workloads?
For example, there is a Resource Manager setting which kills queries that run over 20s, and this problem query is being killed. Changing this run interval/time is needed as an alternative method to killing the SQL statements that are gathering statistics.
