PDF Font Subseting is Not Working in Oracle Reports 10g and 11g

Symptoms
Any font added in a PDF Subsetting section in uifont.ali does not get included in the PDF output as subsetted
Changes
1. Edit the uifont.ali adding at the end something like the follow

[ PDF:Subset ]
"Interleaved 2 of 5" = "i.ttf"
"lbttf128L2" = "lbttf128l2.ttf"
"3 of 9 Barcode" = "3OF9_NEW.TTF"
[EOF]
2. Bounce the Reports Server
3. Run a report using desformat=PDF
4. Open the PDF to find out the barcode was Not included as Subsetted
