When Setting up a Load Balancer F5BigIP (LTM) Controller in Front of WebCenter Content, can Address Persistence be Used or is Cookie Persistence Needed? (Doc ID 1982581.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 21, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 11.1.1.8.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

It is desired to configure high availability and load balancing on a 2-node cluster set up using 2 OHS webservers and a F5BidIP (LTM) controller. Setup has been tested with cookie persistence enabled but when this setting is enabled the application does not work. It does work without persistence or with IP Address Persistance. Is there any specific configuration that needs to be done for this to work using cookie persistence or is Address Persistance Supported?
